| First Place: Unconflicted Talent
Communication and conflict resolution clinch a clear win
YouTube Video detailing Unconflicted Talent's win!
Lauren Abramson, Nel Andrews and Misty Fae of Team "Unconflicted Talent" breezed in after solving all 9 clues in just 1 hour 25 minutes! Due to a focused and skilled throw down the duckpin bowling lane, they earned 15 minutes off their time, making them the definitive winners!
(This is the second year in a row that a three-person team took the title! Maybe bigger isn't always better!)
They also breezed through puzzles and clues leading them to the Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower, The Annie E. Casey Foundation near the Washington Monument, a Korean Restaurant, public art at MICA and on a private street at 21st and St. Paul and back home to The Austin Grill.
They did a magnificent job of solving the clues and returning back super fast (so fast that the organizers didn't expect them back so fast and were still out visiting sites when they returned!). It must have been their professional skills of good communication and ability to avoid team conflicts that allowed them to breeze through the race!
Team Unconflicted Talent earned:
-free entrance to the next Mobtown Madness
-free entrance to an Unchained Talent show
-Dinner for the team at The Dogwood in Hampden
-$45 gift certificate to Darker Than Blues Cafe on Greenmount
-and the much coveted original sketch of the team, courtesy of Greg Houston Illustration!

~~~ORIGINAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE RACE BELOW~~~
Unchained Talent
the student-driven performing arts and mentoring program
Saturday August 23, 2008
Registration at 2 p.m., Race begins at 3 p.m.
(arrive early to fill out your waivers)
Followed by a light party to celebrate your success!!
The game works like this:
When the race begins, teams are given an initial clue to solve.
When the clue is solved, it will lead them to a location.
At that location they must find and solve another clue leading to another location. They will travel around Baltimore, deciphering new clues in various locations.
The game culminates in race-to-the-finish, followed by a celebration. The first team to reach the final destination with the shortest race time wins the game…
So here’s the deal:
Get you a team of 1-5 people to load in one car, sign up via email, send us your registration donation and you’re ready to join in the madness… We would recommend putting together your personal dream team: a group with a variety of skills and knowledge (a car full of New-to-Towners might be fun, but I bet you’ll get lost a lot) for your best chances to win!
The Objective:
Have a great time… oh, and be the team who takes the shortest amount of time to solve all the clues and return to home base with clues in hand.
Time commitment:
The route should take 3 hours+ (last time the range was from 3.5-5.25 hours) and then if you’re able, plan on hanging out afterwards to see how other teams did and for general camaraderie.
You are playing for:
All are playing for their own entertainment and to benefit Unchained Talent, the student-driven, performing arts and mentoring program!
