A great time was had by all!

If you couldn't make it, but want to support the event, send a donation via check to Unchained Talent at 4026 Deepwood Road, Baltimore, MD 21218 or via the PayPal link below. Thank you!
Want to try to solve the clues yourself? Mobtown Madness III Clues
Need a hint? (Spoiler Alert: all the answers are also within this document and some are described below!)
Remember that these are tough to solve on your own. Mobtown Madness is easier to play with a team and some adreneline!

What a success!
Thank you so much to all the teams who participated in Mobtown Madness III.  And thank you to everyone who donated to support the event.

Together we raised over $3,000 to support our performing arts and mentoring programs throughout the year!

The teams this year were amazing!  They solved the toughest clues and finished the longest race route we've ever had!

We were so impressed that most everyone stuck out the challenges, were determined enough to take on a wide-variety of styles of clues and open-minded enough to visit parts of Baltimore they may have never visited.

The goal was to be challenged, have fun and raise money for a good cause; we certainly did all of the above!
Thank you and congratulations, everyone!

How was the event?  Did they have fun?
Racers perform at Unchained Talent to recieve their next clue!
"Absolutely--we loved it and plan to do it again next year."

"I've always wanted to do one of these races. Glad I had the chance to do it for a good cause and looking forward to next year!"

"This was a GREAT experience. Definitely will do it again."

"This was by far, one of the funnest things I have done in Baltimore! And, I do a lot!"

What were some memorable moments from the race?

"Getting brave enough to take the envelope from the live wax figure at the Great Blacks in Wax Museum."Daquashous as a live wax figure holding the clue-if teams could find him...

"At Lexington Market, when one of my teammates asked a vendor if he had a clue, he said no, but that he had large hot dogs. Priceless."

"Looking for Scrabble Alley, we ended up chasing around another car full of racers (friends of ours) on the wrong side of 83 because google maps had Scrabble Alley in the wrong place and we were both using iPhones. There was a good bit of making faces at each Racers run back to their car after they solved the clue at the Hippodromeother and trying to fake out turns before we both figured out that we were chasing a non-existent address."

"I almost shoplifted a greeting card from Lexington Market because I thought it was a clue."

"Just watching one of my teammates race down the hill and jumping in a rolling van after getting a clue."
The winning team: The Naughty Bows! The Naughty Bows come back to take the race!

Barely 2nd place last year; 1st place this year?  Who IS this team?!

The Naughty Bows (aka Audra Agnelly, Thor Nelson, Aaron Prager and Martin Johnson) came in a full 40 minutes before the second place team.  You gotta wonder: what's their secret!?!

Audra and Thor weighed in, "we worked well together as a team."  Yeah, but what else?  "We have a diversity of talents and geographic knowledge of the city."  So what does that mean, exactly?

The Naughty Bows collectively have lived all over Baltimore: southwest (Pigtown), central (Waverly, Ednor Gardens) and southeast (Highlandtown).

Audra, a chemistry teacher and local business owner, is reportedly a puzzle nut.

Thor, an urban designer, and Aaron, an architect, have a strong knowledge of the city, the streets and development projects throughout the city.

Martin, a PhD in film studies and a volunteer Unchained Talent College Access Mentor is a Baltimore trivia buff.

And apparently Aaron is a race car driver (or maybe should be)...

The team had a "fire in the belly" to win for three driving reasons:
1. after such a close race last year, to come in ahead of last year's champions Unconflicted Talent
2. after hearing all the trash talk from the team they recruited, We Have Swine Flu, to crush their team of friends
3. to bring home the much coveted original caricature sketch of their team by Greg Houston Illustration

In addition to their focus and strong desire toNaughty Bows - 1st Place! win, it was apparently in the stars.  Although they were neck and neck with other teams throughout the beginning of the race, their race defining moment came when Aaron's intuition to throw a City Paper in the car to have during the race paid off.  When other teams were scattering across the city to look for a City Paper, this team was on their way to the Lake Clifton Campus.  And how did they know where to go?  Martin has volunteered with Unchained Talent in the past.  They knew right were Humanim was.  They just knew how to solve the see-through-clue leading to the Freestore and knew right were it was.  They collected no penalties or bonuses, but it was enough to give them a definitive heads-and-shoulders-above win.

Advice from this team of mystical mystery?  Build your dream team of people from across the city, with a breadth of experiences in the city, work together as a team and stoke that fire to win!
Congratulations to the Naughty Bows on a dominating win!  Who is brave enough to try to take them down next year?!
